In person and online, we offer classes, courses, and workshops on topics such as mindfulness, yoga, qigong, fitness, herbal medicine, alchemy, spirituality, and life coaching designed to help our clients and students realize their fullest potential in all aspects of life. Nathan Foust

O.M., M.L.C., M.M.C., M.Hyp., M.NLP.

Nathan has been training in moving meditation for over ten years, exploring new ways to apply the techniques and principles in everyday life. He has trained in the Sun style of Taiji, various martial arts, Qigong, and meditation practices. He holds certifications in life coaching, cognitive behavior, rational emotive behavior, neuro-linguistic programming, hypnosis, reiki, and has studied many more modalities. A strong advocate of positive psychology, he urges his clients to always be grateful.

Josh Goheen

C.P.T., C.N., S.S.C., H.M.S.

Josh Goheen is a clinical herbalist and alchemist who trains in the tradition of Taoist Thunder Alchemy and Shaolin Hou Quan Men. He has over 15 years of experience in the study and practice of traditional Chinese and Indo-European esoteric systems of martial arts, energy work, herbalism, alchemy, medical astrology, and spiritual arts. He is the founder, researcher, and master instructor of his syncretic esoteric school, Thunder Dragon Neigong and Alchemical Arts.

Qigong

Practicing Qigong

Classically practiced for thousands of years to promote the overall health and wellbeing of Body, Soul, and Spirit, Qigong (translated literally as "energy work") is now gaining increasing popularity in our modern times as scientific research supporting its many profound benefits continues to grow. A gentle and flowing practice, it is well suited to practitioners of any age or physical ability and can be modified to fit any special needs or time schedule. Learn the foundational concepts of this ancient energy practice and how they correlate to modern medical science, along with a wide array of individualized movements and routines to support the health and longevity of the total being.

Chen Taijiquan

Chen style Taiji originated in Chen Jia Gou and is the oldest extant style of Taijiquan. Unlike many of the more modern styles, it has retained much of the original essence of Taijiquan as a functional martial art. It is generally characterized by a strong focus on the concept of chán sī jìn (纏絲勁) or "silk reeling," which refers to the incessant coiling and spiraling woven into all movements of the form.

From the temples of the Far East to the offices and boardrooms of modern Western society, it is practiced to support mental, physical, and spiritual health by more people than ever before. Sun Taijiquan

Tai Chi Training

The youngest of the five styles is Sun style Taiji. This style is both flowing and beautiful to watch. The creator of this style was Sun Lutang. He was said to have been a master of both Xing Yi Quan and Baguazhang, and he combined both of these along with Taiji to create his style. Sun style is characterized by simple but effective movements. These movements are great to nourish the qi and increase mobility. This style is great for all ages to practice.

Connecting Mind & Body (5 year program)

The Connecting Mind and Body 5-year Program is a comprehensive and structured training program which is designed to guide the dedicated practitioner through a progressive development from beginner to competence within a five year span. This program is tailored to those students who are committed to reaching higher levels of practice and offers much more depth than the basic classes in taiji, qigong, and meditation offered above on a standalone class basis.

Thunder Tao Neigong & Neidan

Neigong (internal or inner work) is the next step beyond basic Qigong practices. While Qigong is excellent for promoting overall health and vitality, Neigong practice is essential for reaching the higher levels of power and potential which lie dormant within each of us. In this Neigong and Neidan (alchemy) training we will learn to unlock and activate these secrets of profound transformation.
